Key information
Angela Boycott-Garnett is a community artist and maker living in Marsden who has been organising workshops and events in the village for over 30 years.
Imbolc was her largest event, but she also organises much of the entertainment for Cuckoo Day and the Christmas lights event.
Angela runs workshops in lantern making, Flying Cuckoos, masks, crowns and junk instruments, as well as dancing, maypole and den making.
She is also a puppeteer, specialising in Giants, the Green Man and the Flying Cuckoo.
Above all, Angela likes to inspire and empower people and unite communities and she is always looking for people to get involved in the things she is working on.
