Key information

Our purpose is to keep Marsden Library open by raising awareness of its presence in Marsden, and by organising volunteers for the Library.

We put on author events, where fiction and non-fiction authors come and read and discuss their work. We also run the annual Marsden Calendar Competition for photos for the calendar.

We promote our activities via Facebook, our website and the village noticeboards, plus you can sign up to our emails via our website.

The Library is always looking for new volunteers, and volunteers do a variety of things e.g. supporting particular activities or general staffing. You can also join the Steering Group.
