Key information

Marsden Park is a local community park.

It features a children’s playground, a multi-use area (MUGA), a war memorial, a bandstand and an ex-bowling green which now lends its space for general play.

The park is supported by Kirklees Council who carry out basic annual maintenance which is limited to cutting back shrubs and grass cutting.

Friends of Marsden Park also support the park and look after the aesthetics of the area, working with volunteers from Spring to Autumn on the park’s upkeep.

Please note that wheelchair access is by the Peel Street entrance.
