Travel options in Marsden

Middle of nowhere, centre of everything.

Marsden is well placed for travel in all directions, by several modes and for diverse purposes.  

London by rail takes about 3 hours and Scotland little more. Trips to York, Leeds and Manchester, measured in minutes rather than hours, mean an endless choice of entertainment, shopping etc.

Bus travel is frequent and affordable, mainly in the Huddersfield direction but also to Greater Manchester.

Active travel is rewarded by a rich network of country roads and canal towpath, whilst a car or motorcycle can take you many miles in lovely countryside without encountering large towns or heavy traffic.
