Key information

Journeys into the longest, highest and deepest canal tunnel in Britain.

Short trips lasting an hour from Tunnel End are available on Friday, Saturday and Sunday every week from April until November. Through trips going all the way through to Diggle and also the return journey from Diggle to Marsden are available once a month.

The experience is amazing and unique. The tunnel is an incredible feat of engineering which is highlighted and explained by our volunteer guides who bring to life this amazing part of history.
