The Canasta group meet fortnightly on a Thursday in the large meeting room in the Mechanics.
Canasta is a card game of the Rummy family, becoming one of the most popular games worldwide in the 1950s. There are many variations, but it is usually played by four people, in two pairs, with two standard decks of cards.
