Key information

We are Friends of Marsden Park, a community volunteer group working together to care for our village park. We are also part of Marsden Community Trust (Registered Charity 1168910).

From Spring to Autumn, we run regular ‘Clean and Green Sessions’ (see our Facebook page for details) - maintenance tasks which include planting, painting, weeding, pruning, reseeding and litter-picking.

Everyone is welcome to join us, and we always find a job to suit all abilities.

We get involved with local events e.g. Marsden Jazz Festival and Cuckoo Day to raise funds for the park - we usually hold a tombola, raffle or treasure hunt.
