Key information

The Holme Valley Mountain Rescue Team is a group of well trained volunteers who are called out by the police, assisting them in dealing with various incidents.

Primarily covering the southern half of West Yorkshire, the team has around 60 callouts a year, mostly involving search and rescue on the hills and moors of this area.
