The Imbolc Story Walk is a much loved annual event full of magic, music and imagination.

Families gather to enjoy stories and poetry woven together with lively Morris dancing as we wander through our beautiful countryside.

Children don’t just listen – they take part in the storytelling, helping the tales unfold as the walk continues. Along the way, young explorers may be surprised and delighted by appearances from the mysterious Green Lady and our very friendly dragon.

With fresh air, creativity and a touch of enchantment, the Imbolc Story Walk is a joyful celebration of nature, tradition and shared stories that leaves everyone smiling long after the walk ends.

As part of the Imbolc festivities, a well-dressing also takes place on Reddisher Road.
