Key information

14th Huddersfield Marsden Scouts is bursting with fun, adventure and friendship for young people aged 4 to 18.

Sections include Squirrels (4–6), Beavers (6–8), Cubs (8–10½), Scouts (10½–14) and Explorers (14–18), all meeting weekly.

Activities range from crafts, walks and outdoor games to learning classic scouting skills. We go on camping trips in the UK and abroad. Members also support community service and you’ll spot us proudly parading through the village in uniform on Armistice Day.

District events are a highlight, from cookery competitions to Scoutopoly, quizzes and the Gang Show.

The group is run entirely by dedicated local volunteers.
