Marsden Shuttle Boat Trips – Huddersfield Canal Society

Where based: Huddersfield Narrow Canal - Marsden

Lead contact: Mike McHugh

Key information

We run regular trips between the lock by Marsden Station and the amazing Standedge Tunnel.

Trips last 12 to 15 minutes each way. There’s no timetable but we leave around every 30 minutes. Before you leave home check our website to ensure the boat is running that day.

We carry up to 12 passengers. There aren’t any fares, we just ask for a donation by card or cash. It all helps our charity keep the boat running!

We run between Spring and the end of October on most weekends and public holidays. We also run weekdays when we can during local school holidays.
