Marsden Silver Prize Band is a long‑established brass band, known for its rich sound, strong community roots and commitment to high quality music making.

The band performs at concerts and community events, while proudly representing Marsden and Yorkshire on the contest stage. Competing in events across the UK, the band regularly takes part in regional and national competitions that showcase its musical ambition and teamwork.

Rehearsals take place Monday and Wednesday evenings 8pm to 10pm in the band room, where players work together to refine programmes for both performances and contests.

The band continues to celebrate its heritage through dedication and musical excellence.
