National Trust guided walks

Where based: Marsden Moor

Lead contact: Emily Smith

Key information

Walking is one of the main ways that people can enjoy the stunning countryside of Marsden Moor and there are various routes - from easy 2-milers to more challenging hikes of 10+ - downloadable from the website.

Look out on the events page or on Facebook for guided walks which take place 3-4 times per month. Walking maps and leaflets can be picked up at the National Trust office too, near the Old Goods Yard.

We’re always looking for friendly, enthusiastic volunteers to help support guided walks as well. If you love the outdoors, enjoy staying active, and would like to help others discover the joy of walking while keeping fit yourself, we’d love to hear from you.

 By volunteering, you could:
 - Help deliver great walks and explore more of the moor
 - Help us offer a wider variety of walks and make them more accessible to all
 - Meet people from all walks of life and make new friends
 - Take pride in helping care for this special place, for everyone, forever
 - Keep fit, boost your wellbeing, and feel great
