North of England Centre for Music and Arts is a unique canalside venue located by Standedge Tunnel End.

A family-run community interest company (not-for-profit) and wedding venue, NECMA encompasses a 250-seater concert hall with grand piano and high quality audio equipment, a further floor for wedding ceremonies and rehearsals and ground floor with original dry dock and musical instrument repair shop with historical musical instruments and manufacturing. 

Open 7 days a week, our café bar serves local ales, produce and homemade cakes. Outside, our garden features a playpark, picnic tables, pond, outdoor stage (with live music every Sunday during summer), making this a great spot for families, with boat trips running regularly from Marsden station. 

NECMA is also home to Hanson Community Arts and hosts a year round programme of quality live music gigs and concerts, from grassroots to international touring artists of all genres.
