Key information

Welcome to Friends of Standedge Watersedge Café at Tunnel End.

We serve home-cooked cakes, hot food and filtered coffee.

Part of the café is our visitor and information centre on the history of the canal plus other local information details on walks and events etc.

We are wholly volunteer led. We are independent of the Canal and River Trust (CRT) but our interest is in supporting the CRT and the Huddersfield Canal Society boats as they offer a wonderful service on the canal here at Marsden.

All the money we raise in the café goes towards the improvement and maintenance of the Standedge area.
